Below are some photos of my shack…Not sure if can be
qualified as a Shack though J
My homebrewed Bitx20
The white box below is my homebrewed 35V 3A DC linear power supply to power my Bitx20.
I don’t think you can find anything cheaper than the Baofeng handies. More than that, I love UV-5R for it’s rugged look.
For one of the handies, I replaced the stock rubber ducky with a Nagoya whip, after which it can trigger distant repeaters.
Out of the 3 Base stations near the BITX, 2 are TK760s and 1
a TK768. All the 3 had been collected as junk and repaired.
The two rugged HF sets on the left side are BEL-LHP229s. On
top of it sits 7 number of TK760s belonging to a HAM friend, waiting to be
serviced. As on when writing this, these
7 had been serviced and already handed over to him.
A closer look of the BEL LHP229 radios.
And finally, the new member
in the shack, the mcHFstandalone HF transceiver belonging to the new generation.
